Sunday Morning Light (2014)

Birmingham based Guy draws Influence from artists such as John Mayer, Amy Winehouse and old school songwriting legends like Ray Charles and Ray Lamontagne, with a touch of Jason Mraz, combining soulful and often intricate Guitar playing with soothing rich vocals.

He spent his teenage years developing his skills as a double bass and bass guitar player, before at the age of 19 discovering his love and talent for writing songs and singing. As a youngster Guy's parents would play him old songwriting legends such as Bob Dylan, James Taylor and Eric Clapton, which were clear influences reflected in his earliest songwriting.

Since those early days, Guy has honed his skills and strengths and developed into a very unique and talented artist in his own right.

Guy worked with highly respected producer Christian Wright (Ed Sheeran, Gabrielle Aplin, Blur, Muse, Coldplay, Nina Nesbitt) to create his debut EP, Sunday Morning Light., Which was released in 2013 to critical acclaim, and is available from all digital retailers.  The EP release, and subsequent success garnered the interest and support of the NEC arena in Birmingham UK where Guy has been involved with several of the  forum live shows alongside modern hit makers Jessie J, Maroon 5 and JLS.

Guy plans to build his career in music the old fashioned way - by plying his trade far and wide, playing at gigs small and large, all across the globe.

Guy is continually gigging across the UK. Check his website or Facebook page for details, or  click here to sign up for his mailing list
